It’s pretty clear that green schools can improve the health, safety and productivity of students, decrease operating costs and, overall, positively impact communities. And now that President Obama is focusing on eduction by reinvesting in education that inspires students and by putting school modernization on the stimulus package agenda, green building professionals have a great opportunity in front of them.
Over the past year, USGBC has forged new connections to the global community through our annual Greenbuild International Conference & Expo, through our various program areas and through the council’s policy endeavors.
