Market Shift?

The show is over. Greenbuild 2009 has come and gone. I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I’m finally glad to be coming home, seeing my family and sleeping in my own bed (not to mention actually sleeping). On the other hand, there were a lot of great products to see, people to talk to and new ideas to share — all of them focused on sustainability.

The People at Greenbuild

Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 – Greenbuild 2009 has been an overwhelming success, considering the down economy. Phoenix was a hotbed of optimism in green design and construction, with an estimated 28,000 attendees. Although I’m exhausted, I’m sad that Greenbuild is over. I still had so many more people to see!

Greenbuild Continues with Exciting Night Ahead!

Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 -- As expected, Tuesday was a great day in Phoenix. First, the weather was great (compared to Michigan’s typical November). The expo hall was packed and I saw plenty of optimistic faces (along with some great green products – posted at www.EDCmag.com/usgbc). The ED+C/SF team also announced the winners of the Readers Choice Awards (learn all about them at vote.EDCmag.com).
