Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 -- As expected, Tuesday was a great day in Phoenix. First, the weather was great (compared to Michigan’s typical November). The expo hall was packed and I saw plenty of optimistic faces (along with some great green products – posted at www.EDCmag.com/usgbc). The ED+C/SF team also announced the winners of the Readers Choice Awards (learn all about them at vote.EDCmag.com).

I also had a great time with good friends at the Hard Rock Café on Tuesday night. We’ll be posting our pictures soon. (If you want to share photos, please upload them to our www.flickr.com account with login EDCMag@yahoo.com and password GreenBuildPhotos). Or just browse photos (and products) via our microsite at www.EDCmag.com/usgbc).

Tonight, I’m looking forward to the Greenbuild Opening Keynote & Celebration at Chase Field for a keynote from former Vice President Al Gore and a performance by nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow. If I get back to the hotel early enough, I’ll also share some of the best things I’ve seen at the show so far. If you’ve seen something noteworthy, please e-mail me at hucalm@bnpmedia.com (but remember, if you’re a manufacturer, please submit your new products to Derrick at teald@bnpmedia.com).

If we haven’t connected yet, please swing by the ED+C/SF booth #965 today from 3-4 p.m.

From Greenbuild 2009,
