Washington, D.C. — MADCAD.com announced the launch of eLibrary v3.0, an online resource where, according to the company, subscribers can search across thousands of codes and standards instantly.
MADCAD.com allows Web-based access to codes and standards on-site and in the office, from the design phase through to demolition day.
“We don’t sell books, and we don’t sell PDFs of books,” CEO Pelin Atasoy explains. “We provide real-time, subscription-based access to the codes and standards information from ASHRAE, ASTM, ICC, NFPA and others.
From any Web browser, even on the iPhone, users can search a code database of more than 7,000 books.
Once the subscriber finds the relevant section, MADCAD.com allows users to browse the code with Web-based (HTML) features:
- Chapters, sections and figures are cross-referenced and linked.
- A linked table of contents and errata.
- The ability to copy and paste relevant excerpts and tables into reports.
