"Superior Technologies Yarn" to be Manufactured by AquafilUSA

Cartersville, Ga. -- Aquafil USA, Inc. has entered into an agreement with Monticello International, the newly formed company which acquired the assets of Thomas Industries, to manufacture all nylon yarns previously produced at the Cross Plains Boulevard plant under the brand “ Superior Yarn Technology.” Under the terms of the agreement, the vast majority of Superior Yarn colors will now be available from Aquafil USA, Inc. in the 1260 denier, 19dpf Chromacasa solution dyed yarn system especially designed for the hospitality market.

These colors will be part of the Aquafil USA, Inc. offering, and will be available as singles or as air entangled or twisted and heat set reprocessed packages ready to tuft. Extrusion and reprocessing will occur at the Aquafil USA, Inc. Cartersville plant using their state-of –the-art fiber extrusion technology.
