Pittsburgh — Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation’s eNotify 2.0 is a Web-based remote monitoring and diagnostic service for Powerware single-phase Series 9 and Powerware three-phase uninterruptible power systems (UPS). The eNotify service monitors the ongoing health of the UPS, while also monitoring the battery conditions to help prevent battery failure — the number one cause of load loss and downtime, the company reports. Available to all Eaton PowerTrust service plan customers, eNotify 2.0 provides real-time response 24 hours a day, seven days a week to more than 100 UPS and battery alarms, immediate notification of significant events via phone, e-mail or pager, and direct access to technical experts for remote troubleshooting and rapid problem resolution. As an upgraded service, eNotify now offers self-installation capabilities, improved user controls for reporting, notification escalations for multiple contacts and expanded international voltage and phase compatibility.www.powerware.com/enotify .
