Carlisle, Pa. — Carlisle SynTec, a manufacturer of commercial roofing systems, recently introduced DryLight — a skylight with fully encapsulated glazing that is designed to provide both enhanced energy savings and extended warranty coverage when installed on commercial buildings. The unique encapsulation technology reportedly provides DryLight with a durable bond between the frame and the dome, reducing the leakage typically associated with traditional skylights. The thermoplastic retainer frame is also non-conductive, and provides a thermal efficiency that is greater than that of metal-framed skylights, the company reports. www.carlisle-syntec.com .
