Danvers, Mass. — OSRAM SYLVANIA’s micro-mini Twist is the company’s newest addition to its line of DULUX EL compact fluorescent lamps (CFL). The micro-mini Twist compact fluorescent lamps are available in 13-watt, 20-watt and 23-watt models. According to the company, the mini CFL is designed to replace 60, 75 or 100-watt incandescent lamps and has an average rated lamp life of 12,000 hours. Featuring an ultra-small ¼ inch tube diameter and a compact integral electronic ballast, the micro-mini reportedly has a smaller, shorter stature than typical compact fluorescent lamps. The 13-watt micro-mini measures 3.7 inches long. Although the micro-mini has a smaller stature, it is still reportedly usable in virtually any lamp fixture, large or small. www.sylvania.com.
