Los Angeles — Kumho Electric’s Sequoia is a new series of T5 fluorescent lamps that reportedly last more than four times as long as other T5s. Kumho attributes Sequoia’s longevity to a patented cathode design the company first developed for use in top-of-the-line backlight display panels. Sequoia T5 lamps are designed for sports arenas, warehouses or factories. Sequoia T5 lamps are capable of instantaneous restart. Sequoia has a color rendering index (CRI) greater than 82 and a lumen maintenance with light output dropping by only 5 percent at 30,000 hours and less than 8 percent at 100,000 hours. The F54T5HO lamps are available in four color temperatures: 3000K, 3500K, 4100K and 5000K. www.kumhoelectric.com.
