Grand Rapids, Mich. — Cascade Engineering’s Swift wind turbine enables homeowners or businesses to generate as many as 1,500 watts of instantaneous power, producing approximately 2,000 kWh of electricity per year with a single turbine. The turbine has five international patents filed for various aspects that offer: quiet operation, little vibration, simple installation, safety, efficiency and autonomous operation. Additionally, the design allows the product to become carbon/energy positive within four years and it is capable of operating at low noise levels while eliminating zoning issues like pole fall height restrictions. www.swiftwindturbine.com.
