Welcome to the ED+C eNews for November 2007
|
|
|
It's been mentioned in previous weeks that a lot of changes are taking place here at Environmental Design+Construction. We've recently launched a new publication, Sustainable Facility, and ED+C
's parent company, BNP Media, is going to be unveiling a new Integrated Media that will take advantage of the ways living in the digital age can distribute information.
As such, ED+C's residential supplement, Sustainable Home, will be getting its own eNewsletter dedicated to all the needs of the green residential sector. Keep an eye out for the first eNewsletter, and don't forget to register to continue to receive the latest developments in residential sustainability.
In an effort to keep all of you informed, we need to keep informed. That's why we're asking you to tell us what you think is the Greatest Green Product.
Is there a particular carpet or flooring product that you regularly specify in green projects? How about a preferred roofing manufacturer that is not only easy-to-work with but offers a high-performance product? Long-lasting sustainable paints or coatings? Is there a plumbing or HVAC system that conserves water or energy beyond your expectations? What looks great and is truly green? What commercial environmental materials do you recommend to your colleagues?
Tell us about the great green product and at least one project you have used it in, and you could be featured in an upcoming issue of ED+C! E-mail editor Michelle Hucal at hucalm@bnpmedia.com with the subject line “Greatest Green Product.”
If you're receiving this while you're at Greenbuild, or planning on attending later in the week, the entire ED+C staff will be at the show. Be sure to stop by booth #930 and see us!.
Don’t forget to become a registered site user at www.EDCmag.com. It's free, and only takes a few minutes. You’ll get access to ED+C
archives, all of the special sections, as well as other great features. Besides, you might be one of the lucky registrants we randomly select to win valuable CD libraries or exclusive LEED Guides.
Congratulations to our November 2007 www.EDCmag.com registration winner, Lucy Crosby Price of Baltimore
Cheers,
Derrick Teal ED+C Associate Editor
