Welcome to the ED+C eNews for March 2008

Will the Snow Ever End?

Well, March is here. The game of "When can we get back to work outside?" is beginning for contractors in the north. Unfortunately, the weather doesn't seem to want to cooperate. Here in Michigan, we're hearing reports that we'll be under a severe storm watch starting this evening and running through the weekend. Fun times.

If you happen to be one of those stuck indoors, for whatever reason, don't forget about the second part of our U.S. Green Building Council's LEED for Homes Webinar series on March 12. I'll be moderating this one (Don't worry, they give me a script to follow instead of letting me babble like I do in these), and will be joined by speakers Bill Zeck, AIA, LEED AP, Peter W. Taggart, and Alistair Jackson to discuss their case studies. The second part of our SCS Indoor Air Quality series , "Understanding the Public Health Risks," will run on March 26.

Keep an eye out for the latest issue of ED+C magazine, too. This month features K-12 education buildings and water conservation and treatment.

Cheers,

Derrick Teal
