Universal Textile Technologies (UTT), an industry leader in performance-based environmentally friendly carpet backings, announces a new app for iPhone and Android devices. The new application will allow customers to browse and compare products, review technical information and learn more about UTT’s eco-friendly commitment.

The app gives customers easier access to product brochures, diagrams and features. In an age of instant information, app users will have details at their fingertips regarding the BioCel and EnviroCel backing systems for carpet and synthetic turf. Users will be able to compare the different products for attributes like moisture resistance, sound absorption, thermal insulation and durability. Comparing a host of performance-based qualities makes it easier for consumers to determine which backing system is best suited to their needs.

The app offers quick access to technical material including LEED information and technical documents. In addition, users can learn more about UTT’s recent work with Yellowstone National Park, The Grand Teton National Park, and their NSF 140 Ready certification through Underwriters Laboratories and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
