TUSCON, AZ—The Community of Civano announced that one of its builders, TJ Bednar Homes has been named as a Gold Nugget 2002 Merit Award winner. TJ Bednar was acknowledged in the Sustainable Community Residential Award.

The oldest and largest program of its kind in the US, the Gold Nugget competition honors not only housing designs, but also commercial, recreational and land planning achievements. All entries were judged on the community design that promotes sustainable development and incorporates energy conservation in the product design.
