DPR Construction had the opportunity to work on a very special project: An educational children’s book on green construction.

Written by Robyn C. Friend and Judith Love Cohen of Cascade Pass, a publishing company dedicated to inspiring and educating our youth about the world around them, A Clean City: The Green Construction Story tells the tale of how architects, engineers and builders have been working together to reduce the impact buildings have on our environment and the need for sustainability to preserve the Earth’s natural resources.

The book, which is geared toward children ages 9-12 but is good for all ages, also includes some simple sustainable suggestions, fun facts, a glossary of green terms, and suggested lesson plans.
