Anaheim, CA — Philips Lighting Co.’s ALTO T5 unconventionally small lamps give designers more freedom in devising new lighting architecture and offer the lowest mercury content of any T5 lamp, the company says. Currently being tested in Henry’s Marketplace, a division of Wild Oats Markets Inc. in Costa Mesa, Calif., ALTO T5 lamps are also designed to help users benefit from energy efficiency and reduced operating and maintenance costs. The lamps are slated to be available to the general public later this year.
