KEMIKO Concrete Stains

Kemiko Stone Tone Stain is used for interior and exterior concrete projects. Kemiko reacts with the concrete giving the look of natural stone. Each concrete slab accepts the stain in varying degrees of intensity, creating multi-hued color variations and a mottled surface that appears perfectly aged. This class product contains special wetting agents, which chemically combine metallic ions with the particles in concrete to form colored oxides.

Kemiko Stone Tone Stain permanently transforms ordinary concrete into a luxurious floor resembling marble or glazed stone at a fraction of the cost. Those suffering from allergies find concrete staining especially appealing and a welcomed change from deep pile carpeting and other tradition floor coverings. It is perfect for high-traffic areas and is very affordable, elegant and versatile.

KEMIKO is a great choice for commercial and residential projects, both interior and exterior, as it will not fade, chip, or peel. Economical, durable, and easy to maintain, typical applications include patios, driveways, shopping malls, restaurants, countertops, fireplace surrounds, garden statuary, tilt walls, and retaining walls and many other interior/exterior applications that desire a quality, cost-effective color enhanced concrete floor.

The preferred application method would be a plastic garden sprayer. Two applications are usually recommended.

It is available in eight colors: English Red, Golden Wheat, Cola, Malay Tan, Vintage Umber, Black, Green Lawn and Aqua Blue. Various hues can also be achieved by overlaying one color over another.

Kemiko Stone Tone Stain can be topcoated with Kemiko Decorative Finishes: Stone Tone Sealer II – Gloss & Matte: This product is an acrylic waterbase, protective sealer, which is followed by Easy Shine mop on Wax, a low-VOC, gloss product that is a waterborne acrylic polymer that will maintain the sealed concrete.

Stone Tone buff on Waxes-Solvent or Water Based: To achieve a low sheen, natural finish with high protection and durability. Best application method is using a heavy-duty floor-scrubbing machine.

Sta Natural Sealer: A 0-VOC waterborne silane/siloxane emulsion to repel water and preserves the stained concrete color.

Other topcoats would be our Kemiko Industrial Coatings:

* Kemiko 1202 100% Solids: Low viscosity, 0-VOC, water clear epoxy coating with excellent chemical resistance. Is designed to be used with color quartz and selected aggregate, and cures to a blush free, high gloss film.
* Kemiko 1600 Water Extended Epoxy: Quality abrasion resistance with excellent adhesion, amine cured, low odor, low VOC, and cures overnight.
* Kemiko 2700 Aliphatic Polyurethane: Clear waterborne, two component sealer, high solids, 0-VOC, UV and chemical resistant.
* Kemiko 3700 & 3800: High gloss, quick dry, water extended epoxies, USDA acceptable in food processing facilities.
* Kemiko 3300 100% Solids Polyaspartic: Two component, 0-VOC, excellent adhesion, UV, abrasion resistance and has rapid setting properties.
* Kemiko 3500 100% Solids Epoxy: Pigmented two component coating that offers 0-VOC and excellent adhesion to steel and concrete.
* RapidShield – an instant UV cured coating that improves the productivity, safety and appearance of any industrial/commercial facility.
