SEATTLE, WA - The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Research Center recently presented its 2002 National Green Building Awards, recognizing resource efficient design, development and construction. The recipients were honored at the 2002 NAHB Conference in March.

Winners were awarded in six categories. The winners were: Green Advocate of the Year: John Wesley Miller, Tucson, AZ; Green Project of the Year, Production or Affordable Home: Emerald Homes, The Woodlands, TX; Green Project of the Year, Custom or Luxury Home: Casa Verde Custom Homes, Albuquerque, NM; Green Marketing Award: Emerald Homes, The Woodlands, TX; National Green Building Program of the Year: Austin Energy's Green Building Program.
