In an attempt to help home builder associations create their own green building initiatives, the NAHB Research Center is currently developing the Green Builder Model Program. Due to be released at the 1999 NAHB International Builders Show in Dallas, the model program will be informed by existing efforts – such as the Austin Green Builder Program – and will advise local HBA’s on how to set up their own successful programs.
