Old Saybrook, CT — A new line of high-performance subsurface storm water management chambers are now available from StormTech Inc. StormTech chambers allow storm water professionals and developers to create more profitable and environmentally sound developments, the company says. By storing storm water subsurface, they also save valuable land for development or green space. The StormTech SC-740 and the SC-310 chambers provide design flexibility for storm water detention, retention, first-flush storage, groundwater recharge or some combination of these applications.

Both of the chamber models optimize and balance storage volumes. Primary considerations in selecting between the SC-740 and the SC-310 chambers are the depth to groundwater, available area for subsurface storage and outfall restrictions. StormTech’s products address the environmental concerns of the quantity of storm water, optimizing land use and quality of storm water runoff.
