PaletteApp is a powerful new online digital design program that will be available for the first time in December 2011. PaletteApp will offer commercial designers and architects a virtual design library of thousands of manufacturer products, such as floor coverings, fabrics and paint colors. PaletteApp is designed to offer easy product selections and comparisons and allows users to create new design palettes for their projects or presentations. The professional architect or designer can sort through hundreds of thousands of products by entering project data, and the filtering system eliminates unnecessary product options. Users can search products by type, sku or style and quickly and efficiently order submittal samples. The PaletteApp site eliminates time spent on the phone ordering samples from various manufacturers on a project.
In addition to providing access to an integrated professional product library online, other PaletteApp product features include:
- Unique Product Filtering System — Identifies products that fit within the design parameters and budget of client projects.
- Fast and Easy — Palettes can be created in ten minutes and samples ordered in less than ten seconds.
- Product Specs — Easy, one-touch downloads.
- User and Project Libraries — Create libraries and reference products for later use or create project libraries for future use, such as when the client expands.
- Accessibility — 24/7 access to users own palettes and design libraries.
- Accessible via internet-enabled devices and, in 2012, iPad and Android Apps.
All of the samples on the users palette can be ordered in just seconds.
"The system provides users an extensive library of products and materials to easily choose from, and then provides a platform to save, compare and reference multiple design and project options for their clients," PaletteApp creator Jerry Freeman said. "Companies will no longer have to go through the time and expense of creating, cataloging and inventorying shelves of sample products should be reason enough to give PaletteApp a serious look."
Other aspects of the PaletteApp program include the ability for all products to be continuously updated and the program will suggest product alternates. The program user or the design firm will be provided with permanent record of their projects. Palette designs from PaletteApp can also be used by a designer or by a firms marketing department for new client presentations.
PaletteApp will also be releasing an App program for iPad and Android users as well a residential design version and versions for Canada, Central and South America and Europe will be launched in 2012.
