Mannington Commercial announced the launch of Progressions VCT for healthcare, retail and K-12 education installations. Progressions is manufactured with post-consumer recycled content, as part of Mannington’s VCT n2 VCT program – which was awarded a 2010 Green GOOD DESIGN award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. Through its LOOP initiative, Mannington reclaims large quantities of VCT and drywall from regional construction sites, recycling them into new flooring. Mannington first introduced recycled VCT into its Premium Tile line; with Progressions, the reclaimed content is being incorporated into a product that comes at a lower price point.
Progressions is Floor Score certified, assuring good Indoor Air Quality characteristics and bears the NSF/ANSI- 332 certification for resilient floorcovering, at the Gold level. Developed as an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) consensus standard, NSF/ANSI-332 is based upon life cycle principles and other robust environmental and social standards for floorcovering products.
