Bayer MaterialScience LLC introduces Baytec Sil 100, a 100 percent solids silicone elastomeric coating for protection of roofs and other architectural surfaces. Furthering the global Bayer MaterialScience commitment to sustainability, Baytec Sil 100 contains no petroleum solvents, is low odor and low VOC. Baytec Sil 100 reportedly meets LEED guidelines as a low-emitting and high reflectance material, is Title 24 compliant, and has been extensively tested to meet industry standards such as UL 790, ASTM D-6694-01, and Miami-Dade County Product Control Approval.

It can also be used as a topcoat over polyurethane elastomeric base coats for improved traffic and impact resistance.
Other benefits of Baytec Sil 100 include:
-- Inorganic materials that provide durability and longer wear;
-- Easy application with a sprayer, roller or brush;
-- Application at low temperatures, to 10°C, and
-- No thinning or reducing required.
