BOULDER, CO — The state of Colorado now has its own affiliate of the Mid-American Straw Bale Association. The first annual meeting of the new association will be held on April 13 at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, CO. The meeting is designed to allow those interested in straw bale construction to collaborate efforts in bringing natural building materials and methods into the mainstream design and building process; to provide a central source on statewide construction development, research and natural building production; and to share and learn from others and their experiences in the field of natural building.
