Shaw Contract Group invites the community to cast their vote for the 2011 Design Is … Award People’s Choice. These projects are all finalists in the Design Is … Award, a program that recognizes inspirational and visionary design across the commercial interiors landscape. Sixteen projects are currently posted on shawcontractgroup.com, and any visitor to the website is eligible to vote. Votes can be shared throughout the design community by posting to Facebook and Twitter. The People’s Choice Award will be announced along with The Design Is … Awards will be announced online on August 5, 2011.

“The Design Is … Award program celebrates more than just beautiful spaces. It speaks to the power of design to transform any space in any environment. That diversity is reflected in our finalists, selected from entries representing a large slate of entries from nine countries,” said John Stephens, vice president of marketing. “The People’s Choice voting allows us to engage our customers, to learn more about their definition of design excellence. We encourage everyone to vote for their favorite and to vote often.”
