Single-Family Housing Starts Virtually Unchanged in June
Single-family housing starts were virtually unchanged from the month of May, but 21.5 percent decline on the more volatile multifamily side weighed down the overall housing production number.

2010 Nonresidential Construction Expected to Decrease
Even with modest improvements in the overall U.S. economy, nonresidential construction spending is expected to decrease by more than 20 percent in 2010 with a marginal increase of 3.1 percent in 2011 in inflation adjusted terms, according to the AIA semi-annual Consensus Construction Forecast.
